The role: Student Assistant (DEI+ Office)
This part-time position with Maastricht University’s DEI+ Office supports Diversity, Equity & Inclusivity+ initiatives across communications, events and administration. Typical responsibilities include:
- Creating and scheduling social media content that highlights DEI+ activities and student stories
- Drafting short articles, captions and visual content ideas suitable for English-language audiences
- Supporting event organisation: coordinating logistics, assisting on the day, and helping with promotions
- Administrative tasks such as maintaining contact lists, updating event documents and supporting outreach
- Collaborating with staff and student volunteers to ensure inclusive messaging and accessibility
This position is organised as an 8–10 hours per week contract via InterUM. You will typically work 2–3 dagdelen per week, allowing you to balance studies and campus life. The university’s DEI+ Office works closely with students and staff, so you’ll gain relevant experience for careers in communications, event management or diversity work.
