Newspaper Delivery Side Job

The role

As a newspaper delivery worker with Bezorgdekrant.nl, you deliver newspapers by bicycle in your local neighbourhood. The role is described as a side job that can be combined with school or another job, while leaving time for sport and other hobbies. Your morning routine starts at around 05:45 when you cycle to the depot in your area. With a kickstart coffee, you begin your newspaper round.

Delivery schedule

You make sure that households in your neighbourhood receive the newspaper in their letterboxes before 07:00 from Monday to Friday and before 09:00 on Saturday. There is also an option to deliver newspapers only on Saturday. The work takes place outdoors and involves moving around your delivery area by bicycle.

Route and practical support

For the delivery work, you use a BezorgApp device. The app gives you a clear overview of your delivery route and the addresses you need to visit, making the round easier to follow. Bezorgdekrant.nl states that no previous experience is needed. The source also mentions the possibility of delivering multiple newspaper rounds and receiving a free newspaper of your choice.
