As an energy and sustainability student worker, you support residents in Maastricht on their way to a more comfortable and energy-efficient home. You use your social skills and interest in sustainability to help residents take practical steps and understand energy saving. You work closely with the project team and act as a point of contact for the neighbourhood.
What you will do
- Hold conversations with residents by calling at their doors or being present in busy places in the neighbourhood.
- Advise residents about comfort, ventilation, energy saving and simple measures they can apply immediately.
- Recognise residents’ questions and needs and report them to the project team.
- Attend advice sessions in living rooms, community centres or at neighbourhood events.
- Guide residents to relevant schemes or follow-up services when needed.
What we offer
- Hourly pay between €16 and €21,31, depending on experience.
- Temporary contract from 3 August to 25 December 2026.
- Part-time position of 4 to 9 hours per week.
- 8% holiday allowance and 27 holiday days on a full-time basis.
- Year-end bonus of 7,55%, paid with each salary payment.

Requirements
- At least MBO 4 working and thinking level, preferably in sustainability.
- Flexible and able to work independently.
- Interest in energy saving and healthy homes.
- Strong social skills and an approachable attitude.
- Enjoys contact with people.
