What you will do
As an Energy & Sustainability working student at Start People, you will support residents in Maastricht on their way to a more comfortable and energy-efficient home. You will use your social skills and interest in sustainability to explain practical energy-saving steps, work closely with the project team and act as a point of contact for the neighbourhood.
- Speak with residents by calling at their homes or engaging with them in busy neighbourhood locations.
- Advise residents on comfort, ventilation, energy saving and simple measures they can apply immediately.
- Recognise residents' questions and needs and report them to the project team.
- Support advice sessions in living rooms, community centres or neighbourhood events.
- Refer residents to relevant schemes or follow-up support when needed.
