Would you like to do meaningful work in elderly care during your holiday or alongside your studies, while also expanding your practical experience?
As a healthcare student, you will work through ASA at care organizations in your area. You work on wards where older people live who can really use your help. You become part of the team, support the daily care, and have real contact with residents. You schedule your shifts flexibly around your studies, exams, and free time. One day you help with getting started and personal care in the morning; the next, you work an evening shift in which you help residents get ready for bed and have a chat in their room or in the living room.
What you will do:
- You support residents with personal care, such as washing, showering, dressing, and oral care.
- ️ You help with eating and drinking, prepare meals, and keep an eye on their appetite and desire to drink.
- You support residents with mobility, for example helping them in and out of bed, assisting with transfers using a hoist, and walking with mobility aids.
- ️ You make time for a chat, listen to residents, and contribute to a pleasant, calm atmosphere on the ward.
- You work with colleagues, report any notable details, and learn to work according to the team's procedures.
With us, you not only earn money, but also build your future in healthcare. Your work complements your studies and gives you the freedom to remain in control of your schedule.
- Hourly wage from €16,52, in accordance with the VVT collective labour agreement
